About Me

My photo
Grandpa Cruz
Houston, Texas, United States
I live in Houston,Texas, I'm retired from the United States Air Force, after 20 years and 20 days, of service to this Great Country. I have fished the Outer Banks of North Carolina, from the Virgina border to the South Carolina, border. I hunted doves, and deer in North Carolina, but was never sucessful in bringing home a deer while in North Carolina. I returned back to Texas in January of 2005, I did not fish or hunt the 1st year back home, but now I fish or hunt according to the season. My fishing and hunting partner is my Dad, Jesse "Grumps" Cruz Sr. he is my key witness to the many fishing and hunting trophies I have bagged over the past 3 years. Dad and I have hunted together now for the past 2 years. Dad, will swear that the my 1st Texas deer a doe, was shot at least 300 yards with Sako, Tikka model 270.wsm in a hunting zone, in the Sam Houston NF near New Weaverly, Texas. On the day I shot my 1st deer my grandson, Danny Matthew Cruz Lister was born, so now I'm now known as Grandpa Cruz.
